Make them clear and unambiguous. Spanish has only 5 vowel sounds, which correspond to 5 vowel letters: ⠀ 📌A /a/, E /э/, I /и/, O /о/, U /у/. ⠀No /я/, /ю/, /ё/ – these aren't even vowels, but combinations of pure vowels with the /й/ sound. ⠀ 📎For Russian speakers, the most "restricted" and unclear sound is /О/. We pronounce the word "МОЛОКО" /малакО/. But in Spanish, such an omission and negligence won't work. ⠀ 🙋🏼‍♀️Everyone knows the joke with the words... ahem... POLLO (chicken as a dish) and POLLA (male genital organ)? But it's only about one vowel. Not to mention the confusion of verb endings, the resentment native speakers feel when they hear "chica" instead of "chico"... Yes, for our ears, a clear distinction between vowels is NOT important.
