Review: 2023 Toyota Crown Platinum Hybrid MAX

I spend a week with the 2023 Toyota Crown Platinum Hybrid MAX to see what it's like to live with. While it is a unique combination of strong power, AWD and a crossover-like ride height, it comes at a cost, with this fully-loaded one costing $54,970. For those that can live with less power, the XLE and Limited trims in the $41,000-$46,000 make a lot more sense, but even there, the Lexus ES and Toyota Venza are compelling alternatives. Nevertheless, for those that don't mind the price, the Crown is a really nice car and a welcome addition to the quickly dwindling sedan segment. What do you think about the 2023 Toyota Crown?
