Organized with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and in collaboration with the Erzincan Governorship, Erzincan Municipality, and the Mustafa Baştan Culture and Art Association, the Erzincan Living Heritage Festival opened its doors to art lovers with an opening ceremony on Friday, July 3rd. The festival hosted a concert by Ferhat Göçer on the evening of its first day. As part of the festival, Ferhat Göçer, meeting with art lovers from Erzincan, gave an unforgettable concert experience to tens of thousands of listeners at the main stage set up in Erzincan Dörtyol Square. Singing his popular songs such as "Yıllarım Gitti," "Unutmuş Çoktan," "Takvim," and "Yastayım," Ferhat Göçer left his mark on the night with his energy, stage performance, and hit songs. The crowd filling the concert area sang along to all the songs in unison throughout the night, and the enthusiasm and fun never ceased. Speaking to the microphones before the concert, Göçer said, "We are in the heart of Erzincan thanks to the Living Heritage Festival." “This was truly my first concert here, and I was angry at myself for not coming sooner. Erzincan is perhaps one of the most beautiful and suitable cities to host the Living Heritage Festival. The people are incredibly friendly and genuinely kind. This concert was an opportunity for me to get to know them. I would like to thank everyone involved, especially our Ministry of Culture and Tourism,” he stated. Erzincan, hosting the Living Heritage Festival with its rich artistic and cultural heritage, has 12 elements registered in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory and 18 Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearers.
