Electron Beam Melting

When originally commissioned in 1998, ATI Richland Operations in Washington was home of the world's largest electron beam cold hearth furnace. This allowed for melting titanium and titanium alloys to meet our customers' extraordinary requirements, serving aerospace, defense and industrial markets. But to keep planes flying fastest and farther, more titanium is needed. Through investment in new, state-of-the-art assets, ATI doubled the capacity of Richland Operations, upgrading its capabilities to produce premium quality titanium. The expansion adds a second Electron Beam (EB) hearth furnace and Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR) capability. Learn more about how our Electron Beam Furnace ensures we're #ProvenToPerform: ATImaterials.com/Richland
