I've wanted to do some Johnny Cash for a while now, but haven't gotten around to it. I even bought two separate shirts of the man in black. I forgot about the first one, bought the second one, then forgot about them both when I was recording. It wasn't until my last take (the one you see here) where I looked and found them both. I was wearing a black button-down like he often wore, but figured I might as well use one of the shirts I bought specifically for when I cover his songs. In Johnny's later live shows, he jumps straight into the chorus and changes the vocal rhythm a bit Bar 16,40,52,60 - leading into chorus, bass stays on quarters.
