You will need: Chicken broth (or other broth) Ground pork (chicken or tofu) Eggs Dark soy sauce Chilli paste (ground chillies, you can use white pepper) Vinegar (preferably black Chinkiang, or light rice vinegar) Corn or potato starch Mushrooms (Chinese black mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, mushrooms) Onions Bamboo shoots Carrots Oil (sesame oil is excellent) Water Sugar Maybe a little salt
