But they did, and they didn't stop at APS-C, instead releasing two new full-frame cameras: the Lumix S1 and Lumix S1R. The S1 model has a 24 MP sensor, while the S1R has a 47 MP sensor. Panasonic plans to introduce 10 new lenses by 2020, with three currently in development: a 50mm f/1.4, a 24-105mm, and a 70-200mm. The new cameras also support eight compatible Leica lenses for the Leica L mount. Sigma has also joined the new alliance, and will soon begin releasing optics for the Leica L mount, as well as unveiling its full-frame mirrorless camera. Both cameras will go on sale in early 2019.
