Another framed finish, WIPs and new cast ons. Ep61
Welcome back to my channel and thank you so much for joining me for another cosy crafting vlog. Grab your favourite drink, get comfortable and let’s have a look at everything I’ve been working on recently because I have had a wonderfully creative few weeks. To start with, I have been working on these absolutely adorable Bowl Filler Buddies by Heart to Hand. I recently signed up to a monthly Wool Camp subscription facilitated by Liberty Bell, which is an online shop here in the UK, and I have been really enjoying it so far. This is a six-month mail-order subscription where we get to make eighteen beautiful themed mini pillows that can either be hung around the home or displayed as seasonal bowl fillers. Each monthly package contains three themed designs along with all of the patterns, instructions, wool and felt needed for the projects, which makes it such a lovely treat to receive through the post. Over in cross stitch, I have managed to put a few more stitches into my Maria de Compadrie sampler by Lila's Studio, and I have also spent some time working on His Eye Is on the Sparrow. It always feels good when I can make progress on multiple projects, even if it is only a few stitches at a time. I also updated my WIPGO board and I am very close to reaching my stitching goal for this month, which feels incredibly motivating. Alongside that, I have continued stitching on Chicken Feedsack and I am now making progress on Sweet Cherry Pie as well. One of the most exciting moments recently was finally getting this long-awaited piece framed. I ordered some frames from Frames Express and I am so pleased with how beautifully it has turned out. There is something so rewarding about seeing a finished piece properly framed after spending so many hours stitching it. And of course, it wouldn’t be a proper crafting vlog without a new cast on or two. I have both a new knitting project and a new crochet project started, so I’ll be sharing those with you as well and talking through my plans for the coming weeks.
