If you've ever owned an RG Unicorn, there's a good chance you've heard the stories. Broken shoulders. Damaged arm joints. Twisting frame parts snapping during transformation. For years, builders have searched for solutions, and many recommendations involved purchasing expensive hobby products or replacement parts. Eventually, I found myself facing the exact same problem. After spending several days researching and testing different ideas, I started focusing on what was actually causing the issue. The problem wasn't always poor assembly. The issue was often friction. The advanced pre-molded frame used in the Real Grade Unicorn series can create significant resistance during movement, especially in areas that require twisting. That's when I discovered a surprisingly simple solution. Baby oil. More specifically, a common baby oil product with a pink cap that was affordable, easy to find, and safe to use in small amounts. By carefully applying a tiny amount to the appropriate areas, I was able to reduce stress on the joints and dramatically improve movement without damaging the plastic. This simple discovery ended up helping countless builders and eventually became the most viewed video on my channel.
