Here's how to support your local Anglo-Indian community! Anglo-Indian Tuesday Social Club of South Norwood, London. Every Tuesday there is a lovely social club that happens in South Norwood, London. Anglo-Indians and the rest of the community get together to enjoy each other’s company and reminisce about life in India and their lives in London. Most of the Anglo-Indians are from Calcutta, but people also come from Bangalore and other cities. Hear stories from WWII war veterans, listen to tales of the days back in India. The charitable gathering raising over £5,000 a year for amazing causes like Little Sisters of the Poor in Calcutta and Smile Cares also in India. They also support several UK based charities such as Macmillan Nurses, Cancer Research, Saint Christopher’s Hospice, Parkinson’s UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The British Legion, Mary’s Meals, and The Air Ambulance. The Tuesday Social Club is a wonderful support to the Anglo-Indian community as well as the wider community as a whole.
