Cincinnati Scene Video - 2 Alarm Fire - Summit Avenue

The Cincinnati Fire Department responded around 1300 hours to a reported fire at a residential duplex in the Incline District of Price Hill. Arriving companies found heavy fire conditions and occupants trapped so this fire was quickly escalated to a second alarm. Despite intensive efforts to get everyone out, tragically a 21 year female and a 2 year old boy perished in the fire, and another 10 individuals were hospitalized. Fought defensively once all occupants were out due to unsafe conditions within the inerior, it took crews around 2 hours to extinguish the fire. Companies remained on scene for several hours afterwards taking care of hot spots and conducting an investigation.
