Creating my child life professional portfolio using Wix

Setup 1. Go to wix.com to create your free website using Wix editor. 2. I chose the psychotherapist website template. 3. Ensure there are ZERO apps on your website before beginning (left-hand side menu, 5th button from the top, manage apps, delete all apps pressing the three dots next to each app). 4. Turn on auto save ASAP. Creating 1. Begin with the menu header. Delete all menu items (pages) except for the home/landing page. 2. Add menu items by selecting pages on the left-hand side menu (3rd button from the top). 3. Select add new page and pick a simple page template. I promise you don't need to go overboard. 4. Name this page/menu item (goals, education, philosophy, ACLP competencies, required documents, summary). 5. Double-click on your menu in the header and unpin your menu tabs. Otherwise, your menu items for pages will be inaccessible. 6. Play around with the elements to familiarize yourself with them. Adding a pdf or word document: 1. Go to the page you need to upload a PDF or document to. 2. On the left-hand side menu click add element. Add button. Add document button. 3. Upload your PDF into wix media and wait a few seconds. That document will appear in your wix media, select it once more to import it to your page.
