I first visited Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa in 2023 and I could not stop thinking about it. So I went back. There are resorts in the Maldives that look beautiful in photos and deliver on arrival. Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa is one of them. From the moment the seaplane touches down on the lagoon to the last floating breakfast in your villa pool, everything about this place is designed to make you never want to leave. I know because I have now done it twice. This time I stayed in the Sunset Overwater Villa with Pool on the west jetty, with a private infinity pool and uninterrupted Indian Ocean views at golden hour. I ate teppanyaki at Tabemasu. I explored the Greenhouse, joined a painting class, cycled around the island, and said goodbye with a floating breakfast that honestly made leaving even harder.
