Following Jesus doesn't mean everything will be easy... it means you'll never walk alone. In today's Gospel, Jesus prepares his disciples to face difficulties and promises them that the Holy Spirit will be with them in their most challenging moments. Before going to sleep, take a few minutes to reflect on your day. Think about those situations where fear, uncertainty, or discouragement tried to steal your peace, and surrender them to the Lord. Saint Joseph experienced exile, danger, and trials, but he never stopped trusting in God. His example teaches us that true strength comes from unwavering faith and trusting obedience. Today, present your intention... and pray especially for all Christians who suffer persecution or hardship for living the Gospel. Ask also for the grace to remain faithful to Christ in the small trials of each day. What situation are you facing today where you need to trust in God more than in your own strength? May you rest in peace, knowing that the Lord is with you in every battle and that His Spirit never abandons those who trust in Him.
