Due to severe weather, our flight was delayed on the tarmac, forced to take an unexpected longer route over Vietnam, and left us with no halal meal options on board. The real horror struck just before landing. Instead of descending into Lahore, the plane suddenly diverted toward Islamabad, holding at 22,000 feet for an agonizing hour while the flight tracker stuck on "21 minutes to destination."
