And after the most difficult and wonderful trail of our lives, it was time to pull the car (or rather, the van) and head to the other side of the country. It took 72 hours to get to the other side of Guatemala, and along the way, we experienced a bolt coming out of the wheel, a van's sliding door breaking, and the intense and devastating heat taking over—but we weathered it all! With a beer in hand and waiting for the rain to pass, we toasted our "travel" across the country, with our van and our little fat boy in tow. We still have a few things to take care of, a few places to visit, but that's a story for a future video.
