My Journey Begins in New York City | ViolinistNYC Vlog Ep. 1 In February 2023, I arrived in the United States with nothing but my violin, my faith, and a dream. This is the beginning of my journey as a street musician in New York City. This first vlog captures a very special moment: leaving my home in Elmhurst and heading to perform in the NYC subway (MTA) alongside my friend Dioyi-Xi. It was the first time I ever played with another musician in the city. It was a cold October day, but I was full of energy, passion, and hunger to share my music with the world. That day marked the start of something bigger than I imagined. From that experience, a new character was born… “Spider Lugo” 🕷️🎻 A mix of music, creativity, and entertainment that would later take me beyond New York — even performing in Denver, Colorado thanks to people who discovered me in the subway.
