Why Rihanna Waited For ASAP Rocky

After a tumultuous relationship with Chris Brown from 2007 to 2009 Rihanna has been romantically linked to rappers Drake and Travis Scott, among others. After releasing her eighth album, Anti, in 2016, the star shifted her focus in 2017, putting all of her efforts into a new venture; Fenty Beauty, which debuted with a remarkable 40 shades in its foundation range, which was later upped to 50. When the star debuted her Fenty lingerie line, she broke the underwear industry too. By the time Rihanna’s second line; Savage x Fenty debuted at New York fashion week in 2019, it was more highly anticipated than ever. Amidst her whirlwind career, Rihanna began a romance with billionaire Hassan Jameel in 2017, whom she was “deeply in love” with until their amicable breakup in January, 2020. Since then, rumours have swirled that Rihanna may be romantically involved with her long-time friend, ASAP Rocky, who was featured in Rihanna’s Fenty Skin line campaign in August. After months of speculation, a source from People confirmed that the two were an item after photos of their New York getaway emerged. With rumours flying about marriage back when Rihanna was dating Hassan Jameel, her new romance with ASAP Rocky has fans asking the same question. In an interview for Vogue this March, Rihanna told the magazine that she plans to have “3 or 4 kids”, within the next ten years, and isn’t afraid to be a single mom if she doesn’t meet the right person. Whatever Rihanna is planning next, she’ll no doubt change the industry.
