Imaging with the Sharpstar 61 EDPH2, L-eXtreme filter and the ASI 2600 MC Pro: WHAT A COMBINATION!!!
There have a been a few reviews regarding the Sharpstar 61 EDPH2 recently and having owned one since December 2020, I thought Id share my experience with this scope and its combination with the Optolong L-eXtreme filter and the ASI 2600 MC pro camera. This combination provides ASTONISHING fields of view and allows all sorts of composition possibilities. As a sort of sequel to the previous video I posted, I also show how the 'ocular tab' in Stellarium was useful in planning the composition of an imaging session capturing the Flaming star and three other nebulae in the one field of view!!! As with all my videos, I don't claim to be an 'authority' on the subject in question, but hope my understanding and personal experience of it are helpful to others, as other peoples have been to me. If you have any tips, suggestions or additional info regarding the content, please share in the comments section. I should also make it clear that I have no affiliation, financial or otherwise, to any of the products or vendors I may refer to. I hope you find it useful!!!!
