English Suite No. 4 in F major, BWV 809: 2. Allemande

The cheerfulness is enhanced by groups of triplets with elements of surprise. In the A section, there are usually four triplets every time, except the second time there are six; in the final group the repetition is broken. In the inverted B section, the first group has four triplets, but it is immediately followed by a different pattern; the triplets are not to be heard again until an ascending burst of five in both hands. ~~~~~~~~~~ English Suite No. 4 in F major, BWV 809 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) 2.
