Takatoshi Naoi, a part-time lecturer at the same school and project producer of films such as "The Edge of the Alps Stands," initiated the project, bringing together a group of producers who were fascinated by the original idea and the project. The screenplay is by Ohno Daisuke, known for "Street Fortune Love" (22) and "Goodbye Erymanthus" (23), and the film is directed by Kobayashi Keiichi, whose new works, such as "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" (2019) and "Love is Light" (22), are always generating buzz. Synopsis Yui Tokoro (Karin Fujiyoshi), a literary girl, enrolls in the prestigious private Sakuraba Gakuen High School, where her idol, author Konoha Midorimachi, is said to be a student. However, she is unable to join the elite literary club, which has repeatedly won competitions. Yui is feeling down, but the club's president, Mari Saionji (Rinka Kumada), reaches out to her, offering her permission to join if she can find the mysterious author Konoha. Yui infiltrates the school's unofficial newspaper club, which has a track record of interviewing Konoha, and begins working as a rookie reporter called "Torocco" under the leadership of club president Kasane (Akari Takaishi) and vice-president Haruna (Tomonobu Nakai). The newspaper club finds itself in a difficult position due to unreasonable pressure from the school's chairman, Numahara (Masahiro Takashima), who is not happy with the club's efforts to dig into teacher scandals. However, Yui makes up her mind and teams up with former literary club member Aki Matsuyama (Keiei Tsuna) and others to delve into the chairman and the school's dark side. What is a "Torocco"? In newspaper industry slang, this refers to a "rookie reporter." It has a mocking connotation, as in "not yet fully-fledged reporter (train) = trolley." It is a term rarely used these days.
