A beginner's step by step guide to creating a 3D illuminated wet felted bowl
In this @TeesdaleFelt video you will learn how to create an illuminated felt bowl using a plastic resist. When felt is illuminated you can see all the individual effect fibres in silhouette. The video is a carefully explained step by step tutorial perfect for beginners or more advanced felters. The materials used are merino wool, sari and mulberry silk, curly locks and angelina fibre. For this project you will also need basic equipment including a small bamboo mat, two pieces of bubble wrap, soap and water, pipe insulation (optional), a small towel and a circle of durable plastic (I used oven liner).
