Hey everyone, welcome to a new video! Today I'm bringing you the latest updates on the grade-separated intersection of the Autopista Sur (Southern Highway) with Avenida Bosa and the new Avenida Las Torres. The project consists of a grade-separated intersection that will incorporate the existing route of Avenida Bosa (also known as Calle 59 Sur) and the Autopista Sur, and will include four ramps. It also includes providing continuity to Avenida Las Torres, which comes from Soacha, allowing access to Avenida Bosa and the bridge itself. Access to the Terminal del Sur (Southern Terminal) will be via a dedicated lane on the bridge. A pedestrian bridge will also connect both sides of the highway, facilitating pedestrian and cyclist traffic. Furthermore, the construction of the cycle bridge will resolve the discontinuity of the bike path at this intersection, which currently causes several conflicts between cyclists, pedestrians, and vehicles.
