Observe Your Mind Without Judgment
Practice observing your thoughts and simply noticing what is there. What is the content of you mind? What do you think? What is your self-talk? Do you label or narrate your experience? Do you judge what you perceive? Are your mind's opinions and judgements true? As you go about your daily life, just notice what arises in your mind, and welcome it with total acceptance. Whatever is there, do not resist it, judge it, or feel any shame or guilt for it. Just observe it with love and attention. Most of our thoughts are unconscious, and the result of generation after generation of cultural conditioning. As soon as you bring awareness to these unconscious patterns, and no longer react to them in the same way, your mind begins to undergo a transformation. Thoughts become less frequent, fears begin to subside, and you begin to experience greater peace, joy, and clarity as you awaken from the dream of constant thinking, and begin experiencing reality as it truly is in the present moment.
