Stayed on the Opening Day of a Hotel! A must-watch for those looking for a hotel in Yokohama. This is a review of a new hotel that's perfect as a base for Yokohama sightseeing. The newly opened "Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Yokohama" is located at the north exit of Yokohama Station. I stayed here on its grand opening day, June 20th. The hotel is directly connected to Yokohama Station via the Hama Rail Walk and is just a 3-minute walk away, making it an ideal location for both sightseeing and business. On the 4th floor of the hotel is "Suju Dining," a popular Japanese restaurant with branches in Karuizawa, Tokyo, and Singapore. I enjoyed a delightful dinner and a Japanese breakfast buffet there. The commercial area of "The Yokohama Front," the complex where the hotel is located, is also filled with newly opened stores. I’ve included a report on these stores as well.
