Washington Ave Dwelling Fire 5/2/26 Hulmeville, PA.

On scene video of fire companies going to work on tactical box 7-52 for a dwelling fire in Hulmeville, PA. Emergency crews were dispatched around 9:30 Saturday evening to the 500 block of Washington Ave for reports of a house on fire with possible entrapment. Penndel Tower 8 arrived first in with fire showing from a two and a half story twin dwelling. William Penn Engine 7 laid a supply line into the scene and crews went in service with a primary search which turned up negative on entrapment. Wm Penn Chief 7 established Hulmeville Command and advised heavy fire through the roof with one handline in service. An evacuation order was transmitted due to a water supply issue where 5" supply line was from a hydrant to Engine 7 was charged before being connected to their intake. As a proper water supply was established; crews resumed operations on the exterior including master streams from Engine 7 and Tower 8. Firefighters reentered the fire building for an extensive interior attack before being pulled out for master stream operations by Tower 8 and Bensalem Squrt 44. Crews worked to bring the fire under control at 11PM. All residents were accounted for with no injuries as well a cat which was safely rescued from the home. Middletown Township Fire Marshal as well as PA State Police FM are investigating the cause of the fire. On location was William Penn, Penndel, Bensalem, Levittown #2, Newportville, Langhorne-Middletown, Parkland, Lower Southampton Fire Companies as well as Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad and Pennsylvania State Troopers.
