Level 6 assessment 3 formal meeting practise - BSL with captions
Woohoo! I've recently passed my 3rd internal exam for Level 6 British Sign Language (BSL)! 🎉 [Note: This video has captions, please see other version of this video for one without captions] In this video I show you the introduction that I created to use in my assessment, trying to cover as much of the marking criteria as possible. I don't necessarily deliver the introduction all in one go, it can be broken up a bit with some questions to the guests between parts to keep it flowing. This third assessment was a formal meeting, whereas the first two assessments are both informal. For this one, I chose the topic 'Society' and pretended that I was a BSL interpreter and was running a Deaf Club committee meeting to discuss having an open day to encourage more members to the club in the hope of inspiring more people to learn BSL and hopefully, ultimately become BSL interpreters because of the current national shortage. Please note that this video isn't the actual assessment - that's not something I can share. The first 3 internal assessments are conversations between 15-18 minutes long with Deaf guests. This 3rd assessment is with two guests. I hope this video helps give you an idea of what you can expect from Level 6 BSL assessments 😊 Happy signing! #britishsignlanguage #englishsignlanguage #language #bsl #handlanguage #signlanguage #bsllevel6 #learnbsl #signlanguagetutorial #signlanguagehowto #bsltutorial #bslassessment #bslexam #level6assessment #level6bslexam #learnsignlanguage
