Jak Eryk Kulm przygotowywał się do roli Chopina

Before starting the film "Chopin, Chopin!", Eryk Kulm, who plays the composer, read Chopin biographies and practiced the piano intensively. "My original vision of Chopin wasn't that different from what we showed in the film. It's a story about a man who was sensitive, but also dynamic and curious about the world," Kulm told "Rzeczpospolita." Before filming, the actor traveled to France, where he spent three and a half months learning Chopin's compositions, which he would later perform on camera. "That was the hardest part of the preparations (...). I practiced six hours a day, and I developed inflammation in my hands, neck, and back. It was very demanding work," he recalled.
