Ta' Boxbox Shelter, Msida - UNIQUE Religious Limestone Carvings .. CNG Trekventures

You have passed by this Shelter several times, but maybe since you do not know where it is, you simply don't notice this UNIQUE spot. Obviously I will not share the exact location, as my intention is to safeguard this place, clean it (with the help of the concerned authorities), and restore it back to its glorious state, for the next generations to enjoy. It's a very small shelter compared to others I have been visiting these last 3 years, but it has some unique Religious Carvings in limestone in it. I learned that in the WWII era, there where possibly artistic people who were hired to sculpture these carvings in various shelters. In one of our previous Vlogs, in Gzira, we already met another gf these Religious Carvings. Hope you enjoy watching this shelter, which I visited with my friend Matthew Calleja, who is also very fond of our Heritage and keen to safeguard and protect such sites for our future generations. Unfortunately, I have to say that the concerned authorities are not doing enough to safeguard and restore our Heritage sites, dating back many centuries ago ;( with your help, we can raise more awareness, and install the love, protection and respect such sites deserve ... so kindly SHARE these Vlogs.
