Mercedes CapaCity - High Capacity Citybus

The Mercedes Capacity is a 21 meter long city bus. With a capacity of over 190 passengers and four doors, this bus is ideally suited for large passenger flows. In Groningen, Zwolle and Wageningen, these buses are used for mass student transport from the station to the campus. These buses also served for some time on the Zuidtangent from Haarlem via Schiphol to Amsterdam, but have been replaced by 18-metre electric buses. The length of 21 meters does not meet the maximum permitted length for a bus in the Netherlands. Therefore, an exemption was required for these buses, which can be seen from the special license plate with the letters ZZ.
