Listen to Ayatul Kursi for a good sleep || AYATUL KURSI Soft voice recitation || آية الكرسي Recited by Shamsul Haque ► Ayatul Kursi is the 255th verse of the second chapter of the Quran In ‘Surah Baqarah.’ It is the greatest verse of the whole Quran because it mentions the Power and Sovereignty of Allah SWT. ► Everything has its pinnacle and the pinnacle of the Quran is Surah al-Baqarah. In it there is an ayah which is the greatest in the Quran; Ayat-ul-Kursi. [Tirmidhi] It was narrated from Abu Umamah al-Bahili that the Prophet Muhammad said, ‘Whoever recites اية الكرسي after every obligatory prayer, nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise except death.’ It was narrated from Mughirah ibn Suba’i, who was one of the companions of Abdullah ibn Abbas, that he said: “Whoever recites ten verses of Surah Al-Baqarah before going to sleep [at night], will not forget the Quran [the ten verses are]: the first four verses of it (Surah Al-Baqarah), Ayatul Kursi and the two verses after it, and the last three verses.
