What Is the Most Important Lesson God Taught Mankind Through the Life of Salmon? Salmon live in the sea and then return to their birthplace to spawn. In that process, just as a salmon endures pain by using its stored energy without eating, we, too, must overcome the pain of being born again by casting off all the bad habits and behaviors we have learnt in this world and strive to return to our eternal heavenly home where Father and Mother dwell. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
