For eels aged 2-3 months, give 1500 grams of feed. For eels aged 3-4 months, give 200 grams of feed. However, chop them finely so the eels will quickly devour them. 4. Eel Harvest The harvest period for cultivated eels is approximately 3-4 months, depending on their size requirements. Some markets prefer small, slender eels for eel chips, but for side dishes, a fatter size (4 months) is required. Adult eels measure 30-50 cm with a body diameter of 2-3 cm. Types of Eels There are three types of local eels in our country: 1. Ricefield eels 2. Swamp eels 3. Farmed eels Adult farmed eels weigh around 1,000 grams or 1 kg, so they have a lot of meat.
