We talked to Kelner Macêdo at the Pheeno studio! The actor from “Verdades Secretas 2” and “Sob Pressão” is originally from Rio Tinto, in the interior of Paraíba. He has always identified as gay, but growing up in a small town, he suffered from societal pressure: “There’s an erasure of our bodies, desires, and mannerisms.” The 27-year-old Sagittarius says he’s often asked if he’s afraid of being typecast by playing gay characters, but he reflects: “Heterosexual actors play heterosexual characters their whole lives and aren’t questioned about it.” Kelner also reveals his upcoming projects for this year!
