A vision not concerned with mass consumption or popular music styles. It is music that is heartfelt, full of emotion, and contains zero bullshit. It is authentic. That’s music to me and this concept of authenticity has influenced everything I have strived for as a musician and drummer for the last 30 years. This album is my genuine offering and a unique blend of my influences. Not intended to upset either camp (Jazz or Grunge) or to be controversial. I sincerely just hope that you enjoy the sounds and energy of this incredible band. I also hope that we inspire you to go back and listen to the original songs while at the same time realizing that Jazz is very much alive and a broad canvas that can be painted with many grooves, harmonies, and influences. Is this album Grunge? Yes sometimes. Is this album Jazz? Yes sometimes. Should we stop debating genre and musical stereotypes and just enjoy good music made by good musicians? Yes always!
