Green Bio Energy Ltd. is a Ugandan green business with a socially responsible corporate strategy. It produces carbonized briquettes, Briketi™, with machinery that has been designed and manufactured in Uganda as part of our local content approach. By marketing high quality products, we believe to socially and economically benefit to low and middle income households and organizations looking for energy saving solutions in Uganda. Briketi is an organic charcoal briquette using only waste material to make it an eco-friendly product. It is made out of charcoal dust, various organic waste and agricultural residue. It is produced with machinery that has been designed and manufactured locally, making it a Ugandan product for Ugandans. Briketi is designed to accommodate the growing demands of charcoal in Uganda and help Ugandans save money and offers a stable and longer lasting fire. Consumers can feel that they have made a smart and responsible choice that also demonstrates their concern to protecting the environment.
