Or seemed like a glamorous life a long time ago. Back in the days when everything was black and white, New York City was the place to be not only in the US, but the entire world! Now, it’s a has-been place that’s struggling to remain relevant. Of course, the city of New York isn’t just downtown. It encompasses all five boroughs - Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island. All share in the misery that is living in New York City proper. There are many reasons you shouldn’t move to New York, and many reasons why New York City sucks. If you live there, you’re aware of most of these already. But you’re probably in denial as to the extent of the problem, or you’re just too stubborn to leave.
