African Soul International performance Soli and Balanta (HD)

African Soul International presented Soli and Balanta dance at Severence Hall on 1-16-2012 in part of a celebration of Martin Luther King day. They are community active making many local appearances throughout the year. They also teach many youth the art of African Dance and also inform them of related history of the dance and the culture surrounded it, things that are not even taught in the school system. Sista Jewel Jackson, director, chief choreographer, and founder, has donated her life this, along with her own children who also put in a heavy amount of time to it also. People such as I also donate my time with video and photography to help thiscompany accomplish greater things for the communities. In the past year they expanded to two companies, one in Cleveland, Ohio and now the other in Los Angeles, California
