  / starskycarr   The ARP AXXE is still almost in the affordable ARP camp! Why is it held in such high regard when it is such a simple synth? Having ARP 2600 and Odyssey DNA means it was a budget synth that had the tone of the pro models. One VCO, a single filter and LFO with just a lonely ADSR envelope - but it doesn't give a sh!t... it's a raucous and massive sounding orange devil with enough CV connections to play very well with a modern euro rack set-up.
