"The Run" I have always been fascinated by the Arabic musical influences on ancient Neapolitan music.This piece is composed using a common Iranian maqam. Its subtly shifting rhythm, inspired by the Sufi "Sema", draws a direct parallel to the oldest Tarantella dances.Enjoy the music... but don't run! Take it easy! 😉
