[FIRST TEST] 1965 Thunderbolt 1000T

After many months of restoration, fabrication, wiring, and troubleshooting, this is the first successful full test of my 1965 Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000T! This siren was manufactured in 1965 and has been completely rebuilt into a portable demonstration unit while preserving as much of its original equipment as possible. There are still a few small issues to iron out, but seeing and hearing it run for the first time made all the hard work worthwhile. One issue discovered during this test was that the original AR timer wasn't completing the cycle correctly. After some troubleshooting, I found it needed a jumper installed to operate properly. Sometimes the smallest fixes make the biggest difference! A huge thank you to Haley Farms for generously allowing me to conduct this first test on their property. Their support made it possible to safely test the siren away from populated areas.
