How to reset the Gearbox (ECU) on VW Touareg TDI (20003-2009 ) Car Freak
Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, without starting the engine. Press the accelerator pedal all the way down and hold it for approximately 20 seconds. Release the accelerator pedal and turn off the ignition key. Wait for at least 10 seconds, then restart the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. Take the vehicle for a test drive to see if the reset has been successful.
