The display replacement procedure is identical for all four models. The only difference is the screen size between the 14-inch and 15-inch versions. In this video we demonstrate the fastest and safest way to replace the LCD panel. Repair steps: • Carefully remove the front display bezel using a plastic opening tool. • The bezel is attached with double-sided adhesive tape, so take your time to avoid breaking the plastic clips. • Remove the two LCD mounting screws. • Lift the display carefully. • Disconnect the LCD cable. • The LCD is attached to the side mounting rails with double-sided adhesive tape. • Slowly peel the display away from the mounting rails. • Install the replacement LCD. • If necessary, apply new thin double-sided tape to secure the display. • Reinstall the bezel and test the laptop. 💡 Professional Tip The original adhesive tape can usually not be reused after removal. For the best results, use new high-quality thin double-sided tape. If you don't have replacement tape available, the display can often be installed without additional adhesive, depending on the condition of the mounting rails.
