My Favourite Landscape Photography Spot of 2018 | BTS at White Sands

White Sands National Monument is one of the best places in the US for landscape photography. This is the BTS from my shoot there this week. For more of my landscape photography find me on IG at @brendanvanson. We made the trip to White sands, New Mexico to do some sunset landscape photography. We arrived pretty late, as this is just a stop on the way east. But, we definitely made on time to give you a behind the scenes on one of my favourite landscape photography shoots thus far in 2018. White Sands is just a brilliant place, and one of the coolest locations for landscape photography. Of course, it can also be a little bit of a frustrating location as it's so beautiful, so vast, and maybe a little bit hard to capture all that beauty. But, in the end, I think I managed to produce a number of really cool photos from this shoot. Along the way, on this BTS episode, I give my travel and landscape photography tips and walk you through how I made certain photos. As a travel photographer, you have to be prepared for a number of different situations. And, you can't really go to a place looking for just one photo, but a variety of them.
