Classic rock: Piton route VS trad climb, Avon Gorge, Bristol; best type 2 fun I’ve had in a while

This is Piton Route one of the classic rock multipitch climbs in the beautiful Avon Gorge. It’s a highly entertaining but exposed and challenging route that I would recommend and can easily see how it got its way into one of the top 100 climbs in the UK. There are some pitons on this route, but in honesty you need a lot of your own protection so don’t be fooled. Some beautiful challenging traverses especially on the second pitch where you need to climb over the top of the bulge before reversing left.
