Marie Kondo Methode vs. Nachhaltig Ausmisten | heylilahey

Are you also infected with the Marie Kondo decluttering bug? I definitely am. Subscribe to my channel for fair fashion, sustainability, and more here: https://www.youtube.com/user/heylilah... Decluttering my home office:    • Arbeitszimmer nachhaltig ausmisten | heyli...   Even though the show "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo" on Netflix didn't really convince me, the KonMari method somehow inspired me to tidy up and declutter my home. What bothers me about the show, though, is that it always talks about "throwing things away" or "tossing" and not about rethinking our consumption in general. Yes, we can always declutter and give things away or recycle them. But constantly buying new things without thinking and then throwing them away because they no longer bring us joy isn't really sustainable, even if it's about minimalism. No matter the area, the motto should be "Buy Less, Choose Well, Make it Last" (or Reduce, Refuse, Reuse) – and that's precisely the motto that didn't resonate with me personally. So today I'm talking about this different perspective on minimalism and sharing a few tips that you probably already know, but that might remind you of them! I'm curious to hear what you think about the whole Marie Kondo and decluttering hype! As I said, I think minimalism, decluttering, and the like are great topics. Getting rid of material possessions feels really good. However, it should also be about consuming less in general, and not just about throwing things away, throwing things away, throwing things away. I hope you understand what I mean. I simply want to expand the discussion on this topic with this video.
