Africa / Toto / David Paich, Jeff Porcaro Arr. hobnobrob2000 Played on YAMAHA Electone EL-90 + EL-900m XG data I was finally able to play this piece, eight years after I first saw it, thanks to the great help from many friends I met through Electone videos. I really appreciate your support! Eight years ago, I saw a video of hobnobrob2000 playing this piece and asked him if I could play it too. But he told me that the data was made on his EL-900m and wouldn't work well on my EL-90, so I almost gave up at the time. A few months ago, I watched my friend Maxime perform it on his EL-900m. When I asked him about it, he kindly sent me the sheet music and the XG data. However, the XG data couldn’t be played on my EL-90 (and I didn't like ELS-02X sound)…Then another friend, Iain, converted it into a WAV file by playing the XG data on his EL-900m. I had been struggling because I just couldn’t play two bars consistently. Then Kisaragi Satsuki 1825 told me, “Hanon exercises for piano are great for finger training.” I gave it a try, and it really helped. I gradually became able to play it more smoothly! I played the WAV file (drums and support data) in Audacity while I was playing this piece on my EL-90, then recorded and combined everything in Audacity. The sheet music and XG data used in this video were created by hobnobrob2000. The melody closely follows the original song. It may sound repetitive, but each phrase is slightly different, which made it quite challenging! I also made a few small changes myself, like adding a D note to some chords and ending with a fade-out. hobnobrob2000さんのこの曲の演奏動画を見て「私も弾いてみたい！」と問い合わせたのが8年前。そのときは「EL-900mで作ったデータだから、EL-90では動かない」ということで一度諦めかけたのでした。 数か月前に友人のMaximeさんがEL-900mで演奏しているのを見て、いいなぁ～、と問い合わせたら、楽譜とXGデータを送ってくれました。でもXGはEL-90で再生できない（し、ELS-02Xで再生した音ではピンとこない）...すると、友人のIainさんがEL-900mで再生したものをWAVファイルにしてくれました。 また、指がスムーズ動かなくて、どうしても2小節を安定して弾けない、と困っていたら、Kisaragi Satsuki 1825 さんが「ピアノのハノンが、指のトレーニングになるよ」と教えてくれて、試してみたら、するっと弾けることが増えました！ このように、エレクトーン演奏動画を通じてつながった、多くの友人たちに助けられて、8年越しで実現した一曲です！ XGデータ（ドラムとサポートデータ）のwavファイルをAudacityで再生しながらEL-90で演奏し、Audacityで録音して合体させました。 使用した楽譜とXGデータはhobnobrob2000さん制作です。原曲のメロディーが忠実に再現されており、繰り返しかのように聞こえて実は全部微妙に違っているので、難しかったです！私も原曲を聞いて和音にレの音を足したり、最後をフェードアウトにしたり、少し変更させていただきました。
