I Almost Didn’t Car Camp Here… 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I slept in my 24 year old Ford Focus and woke up to this totally incredible view looking out over the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) in Wales, UK. The pure magic of low-cost budget CAR CAMPING This is part of my ongoing series, One Night Wander, car camping in new relatively local places in my Mk1 Ford Focus. No van, no roof tent - just a hatchback, a sleeping bag, and a deep sense of wanderlust. This no-build car camper setup proves you do not need a van to explore the world. This is for those who want to go see the world and live in their vehicle but don't have a camper van (or van). With just a car and the will to go you can go out and see the world for significantly cheaper than normal travelling if you can work out how to sleep in your vehicle comfortably as I have. That is what I have done on this trip where I visited 6 countries (France x2) in my 24 year old ford Focus which I converted into a no build car camper using the cushions from my sofa in my living room and my bedroom bedside table.
