WHITING on surface LURES - calm vs windy, LAND based vs BOAT - which is better for TOPWATER

The topwater whiting craze is in full swing with the warm weather and the shallows are full of huge whiting. Catching whiting on surface lures can be an amazing experience but also challenging and frustrating. On this trip I fish the same flat / beach on two consecutive days in polar opposite conditions. Firstly, a windy choppy day where I was blind fishing for a one hour session by land and the other, a complete glass off by boat where all fish were sight cast to. I'll go through the tactics used and observations made to catch these sand whiting / yellowfin whiting on topwater surface lures.
