Mariages mixtes : Quand l'amour triomphe des préjugés

In France, one in four marriages is mixed. But when cultures, religions, or origins differ, getting those around you to accept love can sometimes be a real struggle. In this documentary, three couples from different backgrounds share the intimacy of their wedding, between clashing traditions, emotions, and grandiose celebrations. Susene, of Sri Lankan origin, and Amaury, French, must convince their respective families and juggle European customs and Bollywood rituals. Anaïs and Huan overcome the language barrier between France and China to reunite their loved ones. Yacine, a French-Moroccan Muslim, and Florence, a Catholic and a soldier like him, dream of a wedding that reflects their own image despite traditional expectations. An immersion filled with love, diversity, and challenges, at the heart of mixed marriages as complex as they are magnificent. Director: Glenn l'Yvonnet
